To a large extent, CHD is a 'lifestyle'
disease because it results from aspects of our culture and
lifetstyle that have come to be accepted as normal. The main
contributors to heart disease are:
| ·
|
Physical Inactivity |
| ·

Smoking |

|
Diet |
The Healthy Lifestyle Programme along
with many local partners are aiming to reduce CHD levels across
Sefton through increasing awareness of and access to lifestyle
interventions.
